With winter weather in the forecast, the Wenatchee School District will begin winter snow bus routes on December 2, 2019. Winter routes are implemented by the district to provide the safest bus transportation possible for students during the winter months.
The following bus routes have been identified as having winter routes; 6, 8, 10, 11, 24, 25, 26, 36, 40, 42 and 43. All other routes will remain unchanged.
Starting December 2nd, students on designated winter routes will need to be picked up and dropped off at winter snow stop locations. Winter routes will remain in effect until further notice.
In the event that it snows before December 2nd, and the District determines that winter routes are necessary, parents will be notified via a School Messenger phone call.
Paper notices are currently being provided by drivers to students of affected routes. Questions regarding specific winter route stop locations and times can be directed to the WSD Transportation Office by calling (509) 662-6168 or parents can speak directly to their child’s bus driver.
