Seven Selected to Interview for Open Board Positions

The Wenatchee School District Board of Directors has announced that seven applicants have been selected to interview for the two open positions on the Wenatchee School Board. Fourteen applications were received by the District for the two seats.

The following individuals will meet with the board for a 20-minute interview during an open meeting on Thursday, January 9 at 5 p.m. at the Wenatchee School District’s central office 235 Sunset Ave.

5:50 PM:    Maria Iñiguez

6:15 PM:    Carlos Guillen

6:40 PM:    Edgar Salamanca

7:05 PM:    Karina Vega-Villa

7:30 PM:    Michael Poirier
 

After the interviews, the board will enter into Executive Session to discuss the applicants. Upon ending Executive Session, the board will enter into open session to take action on two applicants they have chosen to appoint. The newly appointed board members will be sworn in at the January 14 board meeting at 6 p.m.
