Sept. 14 Board Meeting Moved Online Due to Threats to Board Members

Late Friday afternoon the Wenatchee School District was made aware of a credible threat against members of the Wenatchee School Board. The threat is currently being investigated by the Wenatchee Police Department. Law enforcement has advised the district to move board meetings online until further notice.

Due to this heightened safety concern and out of an abundance of caution, the school board will move their next in-person regularly scheduled board meeting online. The virtual board meeting will take place as scheduled on Tuesday, September 14 at 6 PM.

The public can view the board meeting on the District’s YouTube Channel. Public comment will be accepted during the virtual meeting. Individuals may sign up for public comment on the district’s website wenatcheeschools.org

All school board meetings will be held online until further notice.
