Wenatchee FFA Invites the Community to the 2026 Plant Sale

Wenatchee High School’s Horticulture and Plant Sciences program is excited to announce the details for the 2026 FFA Plant Sale. This long-standing tradition transforms WHS greenhouses into a student-run garden center offering affordable plants and providing students with real-world business experience. 

The FFA Plant Sale will be held on the south side of the WHS campus, located at 1101 Millerdale Ave, in the WHS greenhouses from April 29-May 1, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM.

Students have been busy cultivating a diverse selection of plants, including flowers, vegetable starts, herbs, and more. See a full list of plants available alongside brief descriptions at the student-made Wenatchee FFA Plant Sale website.

“Earn While You Learn” 

Under the guidance of FFA advisors and teachers like Hannah Schneider, WHS students manage every stage of the FFA Plant Sale, from cultivation, to marketing, to sales. 

For many students, this is their first job, as proceeds from the sale go toward paying them an hourly wage. Working the plant sale teaches valuable workplace skills students can carry into future jobs, including inventory and logistics, customer service, and financial literacy.
